KIEL
CLASSIC 27 |
|
|
A Kiel Classic is a wolf in sheep skin. When
cruising at slow speeds, its sweet
retro-designed looks are deceptive. Running
at 30+ knots, up on a plane, the deep-V FRP
hull slices through choppy seas without any
hard slamming forces. The ride is fast,
comfortable, and dry. (A Kiel Classic 27 is
powered with single unit 160–360 hp diesel
stern drives.)
Below deck, beneath the characteristic
raised bow, the weekend accommodation for
two featuring a large V-shaped settee/ bunk,
pantry, wc/bathroom, is more than ample.
Furthermore an easily erected cockpit awning
increases living space for children (they
love to sleep on the warm engine hatch), or
a for sheltered drinks and a meal.
